In July 2021, the Governing Board of Purchase Area 4th Day Community, Inc voted to amend the community's by-laws that govern the Purchase Area Walk to Emmaus, Chrysalis, and Face-to-Face communities. This is the document for guidelines for all three of our communities.

During 2025 the Board of Directors updated the community bylaws again to better reflect the needs and mission of our current community. These changes clarify roles, responsibilities, and processes for each of our ministries — Walk to Emmaus, Chrysalis, and Face-to-Face—and ensure we are prepared for future growth.​
