CHANGES IN FEES COMING MAY 1, 2014
The facility use fee for BASIC has not changed since walk #1 in 1984. s facilities. services like, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other services that the PAWTE Community could donate.
While several projects at BASIC have been accomplished by PAWTE, we have become increasingly out of step with current pricing for use of the facilities. While walk fees have increased in the past, they were only to cover the increasing cost of food and supplies necessary to accomplish walks.
The PAWTE Board of Directors believes the correct course of action, is to increase walk fees by an amount necessary to pay BASIC the going rate for use of their facilities.
A $25/person increase in walk fees was approved by the Board of Directors in January 2014. The Pilgrim/Team fees are now $125.00. A $25.00 application fee must accompany the application before it can be processed; the remaining $100.00 balance is due no later than the Send Off Ceremony.
This fee increase will take effect on May 1 2014.
